VALHALLA CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026 · Version 1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how Valhalla Construction Services LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Valhalla," "we," or "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website (the "Site") and apply to our contractor network.

1 Information We Collect

You give us:

  • Contact information — first and last name, phone number, email address.
  • Application details — whether you are applying as a prime or a helper, your trade, years of experience, and whether you run your own crew.
  • Documents you upload — your IRS Form W-9 (which contains a Social Security or Employer Identification Number) and, for primes, your certificate of insurance.
  • Communications — messages you send us and your messaging preferences, including any SMS consent you provide.

We obtain from others / automatically:

  • Background-check results — from a third-party screening provider, with your authorization.
  • Limited technical data — basic device and usage information needed to operate and secure the Site and its application form.

2 How We Use Information

  • Evaluate your application and verify your identity and background.
  • Onboard you and administer the contractor network if you are accepted.
  • Issue tax documents such as a Form 1099 and meet legal and recordkeeping obligations.
  • Communicate with you about your application and onboarding, and — only where you have opted in — send SMS or marketing messages.
  • Protect the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and defend legal claims.

3 Automated Decisions

Background screening informs our decisions, but a person reviews the results before any decision to decline, condition, or discontinue an application is made. Where the law gives you the right, you may request information about a decision or human review of it.

4 How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the network:

  • Service providers under contract — our website and application-form platform, our payment and onboarding provider, our background-check provider, and our messaging providers, each limited by contract to providing services to us.
  • Authorities — tax authorities and, where required, law-enforcement or regulators.
  • Legal and safety — to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect rights and safety.
  • Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. If we ever adopt a technology that would constitute a "sale" or "share," we will update this policy and provide an opt-out before doing so.

6 Sensitive Information

We collect your Social Security or Employer Identification Number and background-check results only to verify your identity, evaluate your application, and meet tax and legal obligations. We use this information only for those purposes, do not use it to infer characteristics about you, have it processed by our providers under contractual limits, and retain it only as long as needed.

7 Cookies and Tracking

The Site currently uses only the essential cookies necessary to operate the Site and its application form. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers or pixels. You can control cookies through your browser, and we honor recognized browser privacy signals where required. If we add analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out the law requires before turning them on.

8 Retention

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above — the life of your application or contractor relationship, applicable tax and accounting periods, and any dispute or enforcement needs — after which we delete or de-identify it, subject to routine backup cycles.

9 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know about, access, correct, delete, or port your information; to opt out of any sale, sharing, or certain profiling; to limit the use of sensitive information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your request, may allow an authorized agent to act for you, and will provide an appeal path where the law requires one.

10 Where Information Is Processed

We process information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed here.

11 Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption of data in transit and access controls, and our providers maintain their own safeguards. We will notify you and authorities of a breach as the law requires. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12 Children

The Site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

13 Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy and will post the new version with an updated effective date, giving notice of material changes where required. Questions or requests: Valhalla Construction Services LLC, Texas — [email protected].
